TCU Opening Of Second Round Admission 2020/2021 And Closed First Round. The Tanzania Colleges and Universities Commission (TCU) would like to inform the public and stakeholders  of Higher Education in the country being the first phase of admission to the level of  Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Institutions for the academic year 2020/2021 has been completed. The names of the victims in this phase are announced in relevant colleges.

In this First Phase of admission for the academic year 2020/2021, a total of 90,572 applicants have applied to join 74 colleges approved for admission. In addition, a total of 686 Programs are allowed compared to 645 programs in 2019/2020. The same goes for Opportunities, this year there are a total of 157,770 Opportunities compared to vacancies 149,809 last year.

This is an increase of 7,961 undergraduate positions equivalent to 5.3 percent.

Also in this First Phase of admission, a total of 60,621 applicants equivalent to 69.9 percent of applicants who have applied for admission have already received admission to colleges.

Phase One admission process for a period of three years  (2018/2019 to 2020/2021) shows a significant increase in applicants indicating an increase in Form Six and Diploma graduates. Analysis of the admission process for the First Phase for a period of three years is listed in Table No.1.

ADMITTED APPLICANTS IN MORE THAN ONE COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY 

Applicants who have been admitted to more than one college are encouraged to confirm
their admission to one of the colleges from today 09 to 17 October, 2020 using a text message with a special secret number sent throughtheir phone numbers or emails they used when applying for admission.

Those who will not receive the message in time, are advised to log in admission systems of the colleges where they were admitted and requesting to use text messages with a special secret number in order to prove themselves in the respective college.

Proof of admission must be made through the account in which the applicant spent time
to apply for admission. List of names of applicants admitted to the college more than one is posted on the TCU website (www.tcu.go.tz).TCU Opening Of Second Round Admission 2020

The Commission announces that the Second Phase of First Degree admission  2020/2021 academic year will officially begin on Monday 12th to 18th October, 2020. The Commission insists that applicants who could not submit
application for admission or not admission in the first phase due to various reasons to take advantage of this opportunity by submitting their application for admission at their favorite colleges.

The Commission directs Higher Education Institutions advertising programs that still have space. In addition, applicants and colleges they are encouraged to adhere to the admission procedure for Phase Two as shown on the admission calendar provided by TCU as shown on the TCU website (www.tcu.go.tz).

CALL FOR APPLICANT APPLICANTS

First Degree applicants are reminded that all matters relating to admission or certification in one college should be submitted directly to one at the respective colleges.
