TECNO Sponsor Students At UDSM

The telecom company, TECNO has sponsored students' language learning and culture at the University of Dar es Salaam (Mlimani) in collaboration with the Institute of Confucius at the university.

The tournament held at the college of the university in a new library built by a Chinese sponsor, involved about 12 participants where all of them were students of the Mlimani university. Speaking during the tournament Manager, Eric Mkomoye said that TECNO has helped to give young Tanzanians aspiring to achieve their dreams through learning the cultures of other countries, especially in promoting their profession and being able to communicate with people of different countries.

He continued to say that TECNO company and Confucius Institute have given various gifts including a spark 3 plus a trip to China to learn more for two winners. The Chinese language-speaking competition at the University of Mlimani is being done by the management of the Confucius Institute established in 2013 by the agreement between Mlimani University and the headquarters of the existing Hanban and Zhejiang University attended by Mlimani University Prof. Rutinwa, Head of Culture from the Embassy of China master Gao Wei.

"Last year and this year TECNO mobile has sponsored these competitions and improved them by adding prizes to winners, participants and even attendees through lottery". The TECNO company currently announces its new brand TECNO Spark 3 has sparked sponsorships for the community especially in promoting Tanzanian youth talent and achieving their dreams through various platforms including my famous hero.
