NECTA: Invitation For Bids

1.The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) intends to dispose Paper Offcuts and Used Boxes. The Paper Offcuts and Used Boxes are disposed on “as is, where is” basis and the procuring entity shall have no further liability after sale.
2. The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) now invites sealed Tenders for the purchase of Paper Offcuts and Used Boxes.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – GN No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested Tenderers may inspect the Paper Offcuts and Used Boxes at the office of the Secretary Tender Board, National Examinations Council of Tanzania, PMU Offices – Stores Building P.O. Box 2624 Dar es Salaam from 8.30hrs to 16.30hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary Tender Board, National Examinations Council of Tanzania, PMU Offices – Stores Building P.O. Box 2624 Dar es Salaam from 8.30hrs to 16.30hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by
interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address given in paragraph 5
above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings One Hundred Thousand (Tshs. 100,000.00) only. All payment be made through GePG system and applicants will be provided with the billing/control number for payment.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by Tender Deposit of TZS.1,000,000.00 (Tanzania One Million Only) payable to National Examinations Council of Tanzania..
8. All Tenders in one original plus one copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain sealed
envelopes must be delivered to Secretary Tender Board, National Examinations Council of
Tanzania Monday at or before 12:30hrs, Monday 3rd June, 2019.
9. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’
representatives who choose to attend the opening at the PMU Hall – Stores Building, National Examinations Council of Tanzania New Bagamoyo Road – Adjacent to TBC.
10. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
