Deputy Minister Office of the Regional Administration and Local Government Hon. Josephat Senkamba Kandege said the government has put in place strategies to ensure that all health facilities built in the country have experts, adequate equipment including an ultra-Sound measurement to provide quality health services to citizens
Responding to a parliamentary question today that wanted to clarify the Government's strategy to buy an ultra Sound measurement at Ujiji Health Center in Kigoma Region. Kandege said in the financial year 2018/2019 the Government has been approved for more than 15 million shillings to Kigoma District Council through Ujiji District through an effective payment project for the rehabilitation of a room for radiation services and 45 shillings for Ultra Shopping Sound
He explains that the Ultra Sound service in Kigoma Region is currently available at Muwa Regional Hospital and the Batist Hospital for the support of citizens who need it.
Hon. Senkamba said the Government recognizes the importance of the Ultra Sound device in all Health Centers in the country and has already sent money to the Pharmaceutical (MSD) for the purchase of the device to ensure that all facilities are complete with Ultra Sound service.
He has also said that it is the Government's intention to ensure that all health facilities are built to be able to provide Ultra Sound services, have sufficient expertise as well as adequate equipment so that citizens can get better service and reduce health risks.
