ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Student Eligibility
- You should be the full-time student registered in the certified degree program at the university, high school or high school when you are applying.
- You should be the full-time student registered in a certified degree program at the institute or college at Celebration (October 2019) time. Those student graduating before to a Celebration are ineligible except accepted to the other degree program ( M.S. or Ph.D. program).
- If they have satisfactory progress toward the degree, but not limited to, computer engineering, computer science, or the related technical field like physics, maths, human-computer interaction or electrical engineering should be able to show the interest in computing.
- You cannot have been the AnitaB.org-GHC Scholarship recipient (2018) by October 2, 2019, you should be of 18 years
- You cannot register yourself more than one award at the tend GHC.
- If you get the scholarship and do not report AnitaB.org that you are unable to attend before a Celebration, you will be ineligible in future as this takes the award away from the other student that could have attended.
- Student scholars should be active in the community, including being concerned with campus STEM/computing clubs and working towards improvement of women in the field of computing.
- Student scholars have the understanding of how to attend the GHC will have an impact on them and any messages or important learnings when they return to share at schools.
- You should be teaching at a certified university or college at the time of the conference. We do not grant scholarships to the High School teachers, as this does not give programming for K-12.
- You should be the teacher of degree level program, but not restrained to computer engineering, computer science, or the related technical field like physics, maths, human-computer interaction or electrical engineering
- If you get the scholarship and you do not report AnitaB.org that you are unable to attend before a Celebration, you will be ineligible in future as this takes the award away from the other deserving faculty.
- Faculty teachers mentor female students.
- Scholars are engaged in a computing community, giving support to computing organization and club.
- GHC will have an impact on a scholar and information the scholar takes with his or her to their community and school.
