QUEEN ELIZABETH COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS 2019 – FULLY FUNDED

Applications are invited for the fully funded Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships 2019.  The QE Commonwealth Scholarships 2019sponsor master’s degrees  in a broad range of subject areas. The commonwealth scholarship is fully funded international scholarship and will cover expenses of the selected students.
The Queeen Elizabeth Scholarships are for students committed to creating change in their communities and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The scholarships are named in honour of Her Majesty The Queen, Head of the Commonwealth and ACU Patron, and are fully funded and supported by numerous Commonwealth governments.
By 2025, the Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship scheme will have created opportunities for up to 150 future leaders, by offering fully-funded scholarships at leading ACU member universities in low and middle income countries (LMICs) across the Commonwealth
Scholars will join an active international alumni network of more than 35,000 individuals who have benefitted from the life-changing opportunities a Commonwealth Scholarship offers, and will contribute to the development of the future Commonwealth

SCHOLARSHIP VALUE:

The Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarship 2019 will cover:
  • Tuition fees
  • A living allowance (stipend)
  • An economy class return airfare to their Host country
  • An arrival allowance
  • A research support grant – on request only; subject to approval
Scholarships are for a maximum of two years
The scholarships are for Master’s study only and are not applicable to distance learning courses
The scholarships are for new students only and cannot be used to fund a course you have already started

COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS:

  • QECS Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships offer a life-changing opportunity for cultural exchange and academic collaboration in unique environments across the globe
  • Awards are fully funded, providing tuition fees, a return economy flight, an arrival allowance, and a regular stipend (living allowance)
  • Awards are for Master’s degrees and are not applicable to distance learning courses
  • Awards are open to citizens of all Commonwealth countries, other than the host country
  • Award holders will build deeper and stronger links across the Commonwealth network, acting as ambassadors between home and host countries

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Applicants must be a citizen or granted refugee status by a Commonwealth country other than the country hosting the award
  • Applicants must hold a Bachelors degree of at least upper second level

Make sure that you have the following documentation to upload:
  • High school certificate
  • Undergraduate transcript (and graduation certificate)
  • Two academic references
  • Scan of passport or national ID card
  • Proof of English language ability if English is not your first language
  • University offer letter for the course you have applied for if you already have one

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

  • The last date to apply for Queen Elizabeth Commonwealth Scholarships 2019 is  4pm GMT on 6 February 2019.
