ANNOUNCEMENT FOR STUDENTS SEEKING FOR TRANSFER FROM FIVE UNIVERSITIES TO THE UNIVERSITY OF DODOMA (UDOM)
arrangements leading to registration of all students who were directed by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) to transfer their credits to UDOM have been completed. The students in question include those from Josiah Kibira University College
(JoKUCO), Mount Meru University (MMU), Sebastian Kolowa Memorial University
(SEKOMU), International Medical and Technological University (IMTU) and Jomo
Kenyata University in Arusha Tanzania (JKUAT).
All concerned students are informed that, the registration process will be done from 1st to 2nd December, 2018. After registration, all registered students will be allowed to proceed with studies as from Monday 3rd December, 2018. To enable smooth conduct of studies,all students will be oriented on key issues that need to be observed in the course of
studies. The registration process will take place in respective Colleges starting from
8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
While there will be a case-by-case analysis of the students’ transfer-related matters, the general condition is that, all students must effect payments of at least 50% of tuition fee and 100% of non-tuition fee. The Fee Structure for the 2018/2019 academic year is attached for reference purposes. Students transferring credits to health-related
programmes i.e. MD and BSc (Nursing) will be required to pay for one Semester only in
their respective year of studies. For loan beneficiaries of the HESLB, the University will arrange for transfer of their loans from their former institutions to UDOM.
