USE OF COMPUTER IN DIFFERENT SECTORS.

Computer is an electronic device that always used to simply works so here today we looking use of computer in sectors as follow below:-

1. Business
2. Government
3. Education
4. Hospital or Health Service.

BUSINESS.
It involves use of large scale computers for the following application.

• Business administration systems. The classic use of a computer is to run business administration systems and all aspects of this have now been computerised.
• Airline bookng system. It have long been computerised. This maximises profit for airline companies and often is more convenience for the customers. Many of these Airline booking systmes have now also been integrated with online airline ticket sales.
• Insurance claims processing. All insurance companies use very large mainframe computers combined with specialist software to manage their business. The software involved can handle all aspects of claims procedures. As with many large scale systems some insurance companies have invested in over ambitious computerisation and there are numerous examples where many millions have been wasted over the years.
• Online banking. Most of banks now offer some of online banking. This is very useful to the bank that costs can be reduced. Some banks are completely online with no any physical branches in which their customers are benefited to get services for 24 hours. Also this has it disadvantage since many people loss their jobs since their is now physical branches where they can work.

GOVERNMENT
Alsot these large computers are used in thegovernment in different purposes as following below:-

• Census. Every few years census details are taken and entered in the large computer databases. This data can be used to extract useful information and predict the trends. In some case this data is being made available online so as can be easily accessible and useful for the people need those data.
• Vehicle Registration. All car and lorry details are kept centrally. Thus it make easily to find the owner of cars which can be useful for police, customers and security services.
• Revenue correction. Increasing aspect of government revenues collection are being computerised which in many cases involves online system as well
• Electronic voting. Also some countries use online voting system by using computer. For example www.ukonline.gov.uk.

HOSPITAL OR HEALTH SERVICES
 Use of computer applications in hospital are the following below

• Patient record system. This means that the doctors at one location can access medicalfrom another location through computerised system in hospital.
•  Ambulances control system. Ambulances are often centrally controlled and the computer systems can now integrate satellite positioning  to pinpoint the location of each ambulance. In times of large scale disasters ambulances from different regions can be coordinated.
• Diagnostic tools and specialist surgial equipment. The modern intensive care facilities is filled with computerised diagnostic equipments. 

EDUCATION
The following below are uses of computer application in education:-

• Used for students registration and timetabling.
• Computer Based Training (CBT). It offer low cost solution to training needs where you need to train a large amout of people on a single subject. This programs are normally supplied on CR-ROMS, DVD, COMBINE TEXT, GRAPHICS AND SOUND. 
• Using internet as a homework resource where students can get informations for doing or complete his or her homeworks.
• Distance learning system. E-Learning is the term used to describe studying via internet. It can take many forms of ranging from a simple web version of printed books, through to advanced use of videos image with sound. In many cases  there can be real time two way communication between the teachers and students.
