The government has stated that there is a deficit of 80,000 teachers in secondary and primary schools , parliament has been described today. Deputy Prime Minister Tamisemi Mwita Waitara said in the shortage, secondary schools have a deficit of 14,000 teachers when a major problem exists in primary schools with a shortage of 66,000 teachers. Responding to parliamentary questions on May 8, 2019 Waitara said the process is being done to ensure that all primary and secondary schools have enough teachers.
